Cell Homeostasis

Find information on cell and cellular homeostasis. This is the process by which a normally functioning and structurally competent cell is able to withstand and maintain life within a narrow range of external and internal changes and insults. Cells have this characteristic through their genetic makeup and programming in which they are differentiated and specialized in carrying out certain metabolic functions. This steady state is termed cell homeostasis.
