Reversible Cell Injury

Find information on Reversible Cell Injury. Reversible cell injury occurs when the cell responds to an external stimulus with changes that can be removed when the stimulus is gone. These are depletion of ATP energy molecule, cellular swelling and shrinkage as with changes in extracellular ions, and with reduced mitochontrial oxidative phosphorylation seen with ischemia.
