Immunohistochemistry False Negative Results
Immunohistochemistry False Negative Results can occur when:
1. Wrong antibody is used
2. Antibody is denatured
3. Wrong antibody concentration
4. Antigen is lost through autolysis and/or diffusion (most antigens leak out after fixation, therefore paraffin blocks should be used)
5. Low antigen density that is undetectable by current reagent use and technique
